Preparing Audi Hungaria's students has been a key part of the company's youth development strategy for years. Young people can prepare for professional challenges in a real industrial environment in the company's state-of-the-art training centre, which covers more than 10,000 m2 and in the production areas of powertrain and vehicle manufacturing. In addition to the technical professions, the foreign language industrial and commercial technician training programme has been successfully running for years, in which students deepen their knowledge at the Audi Hungaria Győr School Centre and in the company's administrative areas.
Audi Hungaria entered 50 students in the 2026 Szakma Sztár competition, 13 of whom qualified for the semi-finals and 8 of whom went on to the finals. Names, profession and results of the finalists/achievers.
This first place is the result of an intensive professional preparation process lasting several months, involving the company's experts, teachers from the partner schools working closely with them and students.
The finalists were Dániel Virth, Péter Pelván, alternative vehicle drive technicians, Dávid Laczkó, IT systems and application operation technician, Norbert Papp, automation technician, Krisztián Fehér and Zsombor Szalóki, industrial mechanics, Kristóf Jenei, body mechanic and Cintia Járfás, foreign language industrial and commercial technician.
"The success of our students is not only the result of their personal achievement and perseverance, but also further proof of the professional thoroughness of our dual training for 25 years. Developing young talent is a priority for us: we want to pass on knowledge and competencies that they need to build a real vision and a stable professional career. This success is a shared celebration of our students, our teachers and our partners," said Kinga Németh, Member of the Board of Management of Audi Hungaria responsible for Human Resources and Organization.
The success of young talent is particularly significant this year: in 2026, Audi Hungaria's dual vocational training programme will celebrate its 25th anniversary. The Győr-based car manufacturer was the first in Hungary to implement a dual training programme based on the German model. Since the launch of the programme, more than 2,600 students have received up-to-date theoretical and practical training, most of them starting their careers as Audi Hungaria employees.
